Hey Ray
Looks great, we going out boating this weekend?

Panther 01-21-2008 12:40 PM

Reminds me of when I shot the paint on my Scarab.... Side of the house...5 AM....had to bang it out before the sun rose!

It's nice to see a good home project once in a while, we're so spoiled seeing these 60k jobs all the time!

Good work!

finished product with clear, and out running with Ray on the maiden voyage, the only thing I paid a "Pro":Whatever: to do was build the powerhed, and that blew up the 3rd. time out:(

Now has a 225 3.0 liter on it, still tweaking the tuning:D

OK,

Now Back to Rays Boat, cant wait to see it back together:D

Xray50 01-22-2008 04:59 AM

Boat has to be buffed out before putting everything back on. Won't be done this weekend.

rchevelle71 01-22-2008 06:08 AM

forgot to mention, Ray did all of the prep work. The boat showed up ready to paint with the exception of some final sanding.

BOATMAN302 01-22-2008 07:49 AM

I have used the interlux perfection as well and am completely floored with the results. The shine is awsome and holds up extremely well, the the overspray is little to none. The A/O looks great and should for a long time. That stuff is very durable.

Anarchy Powerboats 01-22-2008 09:06 AM

Red is a tough one to keep up alright.

Xray50 01-22-2008 11:09 AM

Oh yeah especially in Florida. Going to keep the whole boat covered when on the trailer.
