It's a 1993 old school Talon 25 Carrier Center Console built by Robert Wilkens at Talon Marine in Sarasota, FL. with pair of 1998 300 HP Pro Max motors spinning 15x32 Mercury Cleavers (for this sort of thing), 101 on GPS is all I 've got, but I've never seen a Fountain CC come close to catching me or running with me for that matter. I even have rod holders and a bimini top! I feel another undisputed FOUNTAIN WORLD RECORD COMING ON !!!!! i think those r my old motors... did u recently pick those up? last sept or oct |
They came off of an Apache in Florida. Did you own them at one time?

So, Fountain invites all the manufacturers to show up with a hull, and strap on a set of motors that Fountain has been playing with for MONTHS for R&D. They know exactly how to set them up for speed. They call it a Mercury Challenge, and the results are going to be announced at the Miami Boat Show?

You can get a set of 280s or drag 300 2-strokes to run circles around the new emission legal motors that merc is coming out with these days all day long. Not only can they make the same HP but at 100# less. |
