Both have bottom paint and look run hard

Talked to the guy on the phone. They were seized and then put into active patrol duty and left in the water.

Engines in the auction are the engines that they took out of them.

I don't know, but they are not very big engines to be chasing someone around.

The pics make the boats look pretty clean though.

I would as well. That's why I would suspect there was something wrong with the engines! Like said before! Won't be chasing drugrunners but can blow em up tryin! :D Ya ever known the government to try to maximize on anything?

I flew down to Miami and looked at a x gov 42 Fountain. did not know it was a Gov boat, It had been ran very hard and put up wet. Getting the bottom paint off is a project of its own.....who knows what the glass looks like underneath

Years ago I bought a John Deer riding mower at a government sale.(Drug Seizure) WTF $500 or a lawnmower that cost at least $2500 new. Well...got it home....figured out it had been sittin a long time....like ta never got the carb passages clean. Got it runnin and figured it out! The suckers wore it out...let it sit for a few years...had the prisoners shine it up. 12HP moter used a quart of oil for every 1/2 gallon of gas.

The 36 has a Myco trailer. That's gotta be worth some change itself in any condition and they are supposed to be road ready.
