Raining So Hard In Boynton Beach Florida!
On my way home from shopping, each single street on my way to my parents house, water EVERYWHERE! I was driving a montana SV6, was making wawes just like boating! I had water up to my seal beams, sometimes they even went under! I was following my girlfriend with the solstice. when she was trying to reach 8 to 10 mph, water would go OVER the hood splashing in the WINDSHIELD! THAT WAS AT 6PM. iT'S NOW 7PM, still raining very hard, water up the every house walls... man, i barely never saw raining so hard for so long...

Flash flood warning issued for Boynton Beach

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for east central Palm Beach County including the city of Boynton Beach.
"We just got a heavy duty storm just sitting there," meteorologist Kim Brabander said.
Radar estimates indicate that seven inches of rain have fallen during the past two hours. Business owners also told trained weather spotters that water was entering their stores near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Gateway Boulevard, Brabander said.
A flash flood warning means that flooding is eminent or occurring.
One storm spotter reported that his rain gauge overflowed after 5 inches of precipitation, Brabander said.
Forecasters had predicted a 60 percent chance of rain for tonight, but didn't expect such heavy rainfall in one area.
Isolated and heavy showers have been passing through the Fort Lauderdale area and through Palm Beach County, according to the National Weather Service.
The flood watch is expected to expire at 8:45 p.m. but the heavy rains should cease by about 7:30 p.m.
