Why would you do this to something this cool? :Whatever:

I mean, seriously, even if it meant something to you personally, wouldn't you at least make it look nice? :party-smiley-004:

Keytime 01-23-2008 11:44 AM

Maybe it's temporary?

At least there was thought and effort in that one. :grinser010:

I have no idea on that boat, but sometimes you have to throw something on there in order to get the USCG Documentation done in quick order. I've seen worse. I can't imagine that is a permanent solution.

BlakeandBrock 01-23-2008 12:38 PM

The guy spent all that money on the triples but went to walmart to get the graphics.

Yep, 43' Donzi ZR can't be too cheap.

You see people do this all the time in my area. Crap name and mail box letters to put it and the registration numbers on the boat. Usually their way-undersized fenders are banging off the side of the boat as they are running.

It is the float plan for the people smugglers.

They leave from Haiti, and they land in Jupiter Florida.

More than you know. Spent the weekend at the Orlando boat show in a booth next to the Border cops. You should hear the stories.

I've just been looking into this whole documentation thing, and I'd agree with Sydwayz, I'm sure its just temporary, to keep the cops off ass.

That KILLS me to see that!!

Wal-Mart john-boat fenders and yellow poly line from Home Depot.

Unbelievable; and we have ALL seen it hanging off of a $300K boat!!

He spent all that money on that boat with triple and bravos.....it should have twin motors with sixes and would have been a nicer piece.....IMO

Ditto,
I never understood low hp triple's w/ bravos. Increase pasasitic drag from a 3rd drive, increase weight from a 3rd engine. twin 700 -850's and surface drives is by far a much better set up.

The builders who are still doing triples are stuck in the nineties. Like all the boats in the eighties with arch's. The latest fad the horizontal trim tab.

If you are going to name your boat do it right.

Edward R. Cozzi 03-02-2008 10:10 AM

Call me an old fart, but I still enjoy a triple engine boat. It flies level, is instantly planing and I had fun telling the uninformed that the front engine was my generator.

Funny you say that Clay, the best ever was when a friend pulled up next to me in his brothers 27 foot Baja and handed me the end of a 75 foot white nylon rope he bought at Menard's that he did not even cut into 4 ropes, just one big long rope that was frayed at the ends. None the less, he did follow his brother's orders and buy some rope before he was able to take the boat out.

I watched Superbad last nite and laughed my ass off! I told my wife I was going to name my boat McLovin and she came unglued!!
