-Under 115k, probably need to buy new for financing term?(looking 20 yrs due to seasonal higher income)
-I don't care about cabin space. No overnighters
-No offshore running, mainly rivers and smaller lakes(lake norman and ERIE every once in a blue moon )
-Looking for alot of speed
-Build quality is a must (If the speed is there I don't see my needs changing anytime soon)
-I'm open to a cat or a V
-Open to 28-36ft
-I don't care about holeshoting(i'd rather keep my outdrive)

I don't know much about the smaller more "custom" manufacturers. Im just looking for peoples .02 cents and open to anything. I appreciate all your guys input and just wanted to say thanks for building a wealth of knowledge and experience on this site.

There is a 02 30 daytona w/ 496's for 108k asking, probably a 90+MPH boat very reliable. I have had two of these and enjoyed both very much. I have an 05 30 for sale without power for 100k. The 28' Daytona pre ICC is a great river boat talldeck is not quite as fast of a bottom but still a goood boat for the money. I know of a 99 28' Daytona with 600hp for 80k 110.

I can get you into a nice new 28' Active Thunder with a 525EFI/XR for close, if not under your number. Wave crusher, deep-V, VERY deep freeboard, solid & consistent performer, and will run 75mph. (No, its not the fastest in this space, but its big, comfy, and SOLID.) I've been out with 28ATs in 3-4 footers with occasional 6 foot holes and the boat can handle such just fine. (Your not riding like a 38 footer, but your getting home in one piece, and you don't have to tighten anything.)

Take a look at the 2 Active Thunders in here in the OSO Classifieds; and drop me a line so we can spec your boat. You'll get a LIFETIME hull warranty and I can get you an extended 5 (maybe more) power train warranty.

My contact info is in my signature. Good luck in your quest.

Ditto: Dave P. at Essex Credit will get you a great 20yr rate on a quality used boat. I have my 2003 Donzi 38Comp with him that i bought in Oct. 07

P.S.- A bottle of Jack Daniel's might get you an even better rate!:D

Getting 20 year financing should not be an issue on 100k plus on a used boat.
