my friend has a 13 footer with a 40 merc. we use to take it out on super choppy days and surf the waves with it. got up on a slalom ski behind it one time and pulled the back around like no other. whalers are some of the most fun boats ive ever been on!

rock, that things []0[][]\/[][]0!

Like my neighbor friend growing up. Yep even the smaller ones can handle decent sized chop!

Tank has good tastes! Seeing him post makes me regret going for a house temporarily instead..........

Thinking about it rather be homeless then boat less.

I believe the 68+ mph claim with those 300's on back, and they will handle about the same sea's as any CC I can think of!

Last fall, I saw that boat at the "Boat Hospital" shop, just down the way from Mystic. I went over and looked @ it, it is a BIG hull for it's LOA.

Boat looks like it sits nice with that much weight in the back. Nice Job!
I think many of us here started with Whalers. I had a 10 year old 13' as my first boat when I was 13 then upgraded to a 15' CC Whaler. Those are great boats that are timeless.

its not so much white, its an off white color, but in really nice shape for its age, i tihnk it might be a 1999-2000?. they got it for a steal at 4 grand and are trying to sell it for 4 grand! told them i would give them 2000. no dice lol. i think when we gps'd it a couple years ago it did around 31? does that sound right?

cheers,
josh

The one pictured is my younger Brother and his friends Whaler. My first one was originally my Dad's, he's a huge fan of them..........

Resale on even 1980's Whalers is pretty good as well...They also do not last long when you find them on the market.....

Cant see it in the picture, but if you could look right. You'd see a Ferry terminal....... 400ft. car Ferries make nice wakes that are extra fun in a 13' Whaler!

102 mph and no pfd and kill switch - holy cow! I'm sure the camera guy had one on though!
