Looks like the pics is taken at Larrys old shop, I really dont think you'll need 300k but a good 150 + whatever the boat cost you and you'll end up with a unique skater.......

it has whats left of a trailer.....Lol......Ive seen some nice power on her in the 30's for 900hp low hours if so you have 120 just for 6's, rigging, guages, exhuast....... and so on....

lowblue320 01-26-2008 06:39 PM

heres a fine example....and there are others, I spoke to many people when I was looking for my boat and others for my friends cat that hes putting together (dont want to give up he's leads)...but trust me 30-35 for 900Hp low hrs motors are out there......he'll when I was building my motion "Chief" had a set of carolina's with Vortec intercooled superchargered 750 Hp dynoed 540 block with all the right stuff, dart block, heads etc.....with 25 hrs for 15k ?????? all you have to do is look and dont get desperate....... and dry 6's for 40 all day long..

hint look real close on our own classifieds....there are also some that were on there that are still available but dont want to give it away because my close friend is looking close at them for his boat......even Ginos Im sure can be boat for 45K

50.000 for rigging ? I have seen these numbers on here before and assumed that was pumps and cables and hoses ,etc plus labor is this just labor?

I saw the boat annd it's in nice shape. As for the rust. I'm not sure if there are other pics but the only rust i see in the pic was on the trim tab. Looks like they didn't use 1 screw or clip in stainless. The boat is far from looking like it's been sitting in an abandoned parking lot. Nice boat for the money.

It is not uncommon to see 50k to 80k for a good rigger to complete a twin blower motor, 6 drive boat, this would include all wiring, dash panels, cutting and setting up for drives, sea strainers, coolers, engine plumbing, exhaust, cutting and installing tailpipes, tabs, throttles. some of the more detailed mti's skaters can go well into the 100k's

its a 40 and 900 will push it fine, if you look at the picture closely you will notice the drives are cut out, I would only guess the dash holes for the guages are cut out two.....I'm not planning on breaking any speed records or taking it to any shows like Sema.....as for the 50k rig job, I just did mine on a 35 and didnt spend that.... if so TnT wont cost you that in labor.....what im sayng is for a pretty and unique boat (one that you wont see in every pokerrun) I believe that if the hull is good, it will be a nice toy....and besides aleast you know when your done what you have as if you are thinking about resale value on one of these toys this is not the time to make money$$$$$$$...
