A boat builder would usually build a running plug of what they are going to build. Basically a model to test before pulling a mold. If a builder never built a plug and ran the first model and find it has problems, they will need to make changes and probably modify the mold the exitsing mold if they can or build a whole new mold. I guess they call that tooling.
You can model test in towing tanks, and use CFD and get a very accurate measurements for how it will perform and handle.

The TG thread in Cig section did not get 'poofed' Thread author deleted because he said they were taking care of (granted .. suddenly ) the issue.

you think it was gloating ? I am just so fed up with not being able to bring out the bad pionts as well as the good. Nobody is perfect and I know it. It was just so suprizing to hear someone posting a bad experence with cig and the power of oso must of worked great for the owner, that needs to happen more often. As to this there has been alot of questions about the digger boat and no one wants to answer them. I am sorry if I offended anyone but I just like to know the other side of the stories. And there has been alot of thread poofing going on.
