for what you need to do just call a local crain co. They will charge you about #400- $500 for a few hours, or you can take it to Pompano I can arrange to have it done for a case of beer.

I just bought some (4) yardarms for the house, there not to bad to move around, just make sure theres air in the tires and they roll great, if I have to transport them, I use a hydraulic tilt trailer or a tommy lift, the next toy/tool for the house is going to be a 5k forklift :cool-smiley-011:

Gino, we use a couple of "A" frames on rollers & the yard arm dollies with the large wheels are pretty slick for rolling the boat around the shop when your not using it or working on it .I understand your good luck but its not that bad of a job and my 16 year old and his buddy have taken in off in less then an hour .good luck big daddy :cool-smiley-011:

Yard Arms are the way to do it. The work nice. Be careful tho, if you put too much weight on them, you can bend the arms, so be carefull that they are loaded properly.

1. There are no boatels or marinas with lifts that you can leave it at on a lift thats near where you want to be?


2. I don't know where you live down there but it would seem like there has to be a place on the James river or any fresh water you could put in and drive farther to get to open water. More time in the boat with less headache if it stayed on the tilt trailer.

This is why I moved to the water, 600 foot walk to my boat from the house.:D and I know you can aford it.

don't cheap out now just spend some money and get it done rite :)
trailer the boat to t.n.t. and have them pull it off the trailer and load it in the water for ya .
