Porsche Boat?

Like it says, Porsche Design did the design, for a company called Fearless Yachts.
The boats are built at the Donzi factory using a unique construction method. The boat is moulded in two halves, that join at the centreline. It uses design cues from the Carrera GT, and has a cool looking cockpit. No cabin...but if you pay 350K for a 28 footer, you´ve got plenty of places to spend the night, elsewhere. First boat had a red painted 525EFi. Boat comes in any colour you like as long as it is silver. A swim platform folds out at the back, when you need it. |
Saw it at the Chicago Boat Show. Nice looking ride...very smooth lines. They had it on a trailer behind a Cayenne. Problem was...show special price was $300,000....and across the aisle was a $387,000 Top Gun. Gimme the Gun becuz sometimes water is rough!

I saw this boat today .....didn't know what it was.
The guy was at the Ocean County Mall and was pulling it with a motor home. When I saw it he was pulling the cover off. I sat in traffic looking at it until I pissed off everyone behind me :D |

Well actually, I do! Porsche Design runs as a seperate business to us. They are in up in the Mountains in Austria, and do all the cool products (which used to be sunglasses, but now it is just about everything) We, at Style Porsche (at the Weissach development center) just design the cars:cool-smiley-011:. The weather sucks right now. Cold, wet and grey. Last winter I found at least one good weekend every month where I could drop the boat in the water and let my 525 enjoy the oxygen heavy cool air at 80 mph for a few hours. Last run this winter was early November. I keep looking out of the window and hoping........ |
Mike that boat you saw was coming to Coty Marine. I'll have that boat on display in our Cigarette Booth at the A.C boat show next week.
