Formula 382's on Ebay in Connecticut

I noticed that there are several 382's on Ebay this week. I looked at the one in Saybrook CT before I bought my 99. A year ago the blown motors looked brand new. The rest of the boat looked like it had been run hard and put away wet. IMO

I have seen the one at Suburban Marine from a distance. It looked to be in great shape. I don't know what a closer inspection would reveal. If anyone is interested I would be glad to take a closer look.

I called the guy in WI a year or so ago. He said it had new skins and paint from Formula. At the time he was asking WAY too much. I offered 40K. He said he would think about it but I never heard from him again. Maybe he likes having it around.

A year ago from what I could see 96's were SELLING for mid 90's. I bought a LOADED freshwater 99 for 95K. I figure 10K/ yr for depreciation.

There are 1999 382's in Long Island asking 130K!! They have been for sale for over one year.

My 2002 with fresh (built up :D) 500EFI's on a new trailer will go in the $130's.........I agree 130K for a 99 isn't going to happen.

There's a really nice and clean '06 or '07 that was just traded in at Passport Marine that can probably be had for a good deal.
