When I took the pic I tried to make sure that you could see Reggie's giant gold medalion and chain but it did not come out in the pic. The guys down at the plant mounted his seat on top of the deck to give him a better view. I heard he was verticaly challanged.

It may look funny, but those guys were either "Manly Men" or not very smart to race that thing...

Looks photo shopped to me, like it's undergone a beak transplant. Why not put it on so we can blow it up? Then we can tell if it's the real deal.:D

I rode in the back seat before the Long Beach - San Francisco race in 1967 with owner/driver, Bill Cooper. Scared the s**t out of me, but that was no problem, it was self-flushing.....................

Not photoshopped,it's real. They were getting around the minimum length rule with their 20' Formula. Imagine that,a Formula with a beak:D

It ain't photo shopped and pix of that boat were in every major magazine of the day as well as John Crouse's book.

Extended noses, like steps, were around long before Reggie "invented" them.

Deal with it.

Worse things could happen. If you could special order a Formula with a beak I might even buy one. :D

Now that's funny I don't care what anyone says that's funny right there

oldschoolfan 02-10-2008 12:18 PM

that would seem right 20 foot formula + 6 foot beak = 27 fountain.
