Supercharged Merc 6.2???
 
Has anyone supercharged the merc 6.2?? If so, how do you like it, what speed were you were before and after??

The 6.2's are weak just by themselves...it would be best starting over with a better foundation.

I like the idea, but aren't the 6.2's in there for reliability in the first place. Put a charger on it and it kind of defeats the purpose. I'll bet you can find someone to swap engines with.

I believe Marine power had one at last years miami show.Maybe it was a 6.0l

I haven't heard anyone say they are weak, any more info on that?

Been told Merc will be super charging 6.2L. GM is going to discontinue the 496,Merc is right now trying to buy as many 496's as they can.When they run out, you'll see a stout 6.2L/charged.
