Jersey Speed Skiff... they are actually a lot more stable then they look. When they go into the turns (during the race) they bounce around just like as well only on their side. It's pretty crazy though. I rode in one about 10 years ago. It was APBA legal and ran about 80 I believe.

If you look at the bow of the boat there is a seat for anyone crazy enough to get in!!!!!!! Actually it would probably help to offset the porpoising and give it a little more top end. It would have to be someone with a death wish for sure!!!!!

That is not actually a seat though it does look like it. I can't remember why they have that part of the bow open. When they race there is a rider. He just rides though, no throttle. The steering wheel on those also comes directly out of the floor so it's kinda between your legs without any angle to it.
