Transport Cover

Was just wondering what everyone uses to cover their boat during long trips. We are thinking about taking the boat down to Florida for the St. Petersburg poker run and trying to figure out how to protect the paint job from any damage. I know a loose cover will do more damage than good. Would shrink wrapping it be the best option? I did a search and saw some nice custom covers but i'm not aware of any places nearby that could make one. Any suggestions or references? The boat is an 06' 38 Top Gun.

Shoot a PM to "Hot Duck" here on OSO. His trailering covers are made outside of Ocean City, MD which isn't a bad trip.

used to trailer all over country for races for many years....
really only two good options
1) leave it open, less damage than anything in long run
2) shrink wrap, no matter what anyone says, $400 is worth it

any cover is only going to be 90% and WILL cause other damage, no matter who makes it or how it fits

Just my experience
