Bruce you know how I like to come close to the seawall and swing the turn wide. Here is a couple pics gdfatha took from 04. We spanked um second race.

The years that I watched from the pier, I always thought the racers looked like they were gonna hit that round pylon thing and then I decided it was just the angle I was seeing it from. Last year in the boat, I decided it wasnt just the angle I had been seeing it from. We come might close to that thing a few times :D

I think that pillar thing by the pier house is called a "dolphin" so I understand. In order to set up and take a wide sweeping turn I would get as close as possible to it.
