I would love to know how they took the bow shot of the most recent Outerlimits ads. The one looking straight back with the man and woman in the cockpit with rooster tail and skyline in the background. Was it a helicopter with a telephoto lens? There is no way it could be from another boat. Could it?

Chris Chris, Actually we were not racing the GEICO planes. However we had to wait for them to come in at speed and accelerate quickly ahead of them. I don't know what the top speed of the WWII trainer is but we didn't have a problem playing catch-up with them. The Callan picture is of the old Tencara. Not fixable. I believe it was sold recently. Here's one of my all time favorites- from Ft Myers Beach 2006, that's the Lightnin' Jack's boat in there... and the long shot of the Peppers boat from post #3... from the same day... talk about carvin a turn. |

Jayboat, The pic of Lightning Jacks is really cool. Are they actually the same turn? The pic on the right seems like there may be a boat hidden in the spray, There sure is a lot of water being thrown up.
