That's Manassass. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KJYO That's Leesburg Executive. Scroll down for fuel info. Will also list airports within the area. |
sweet thanks, do you have to supply your own drums or would they have like 55 gal drums ready to go?

We either fuel the boat at the local airport , or our fuel delivery company brings 1000 gallons at a shot ..good luck

yea just called them both, and they say for planes only, will not sell out of the pump even if i bring my own drum. oh well looks like $8/gal for 110 for now......thanks guys for the quick info, have a good one.

Don't give up entirely. You might try asking for their distributor and see whether they have provisions for you. FWIW, I could see them having a tougher time disbursing into a drum rather than pumping straight into a boat. Find a smaller airport on that list and try looking up your local experimental airplane group.
Might not have as many in VA, but I wonder what airboaters use and how do they get it? |
thanks, i'll check into the local airplane groups. no sense of taking the boat there if it only holds 22 gallons.
