Racing Vids from Past summer

Here are a few vids I found my GF took over this past summer. It should help cure the winter blues as its not long before we hit the water.

1st race is my 84 Hammond Challenger MKII vs a buddys Crownline 225. This was my 355ci SBC 400hp with an Alpha vs his 540ci BBC w Bravo. Shows how a light fast hull can take down a boat with 200 more hp. His boat is probably 2000lbs heavier and has a nice hook in the hull. I saw a shade under 75GPS. He runs around 69-70GPS.

2nd Video is of my boat vs a 230 Stingray w a 454MAG 385hp w Bravo 1. I had 5 people in the boat and an almost full tank and the SBC does not like that. I still ran 68-69 GPS. He runs in the mid 60's.

Nice, anything with noise and water is a good thing this time of year.

LOL! It's a small world. WV's everywhere. Yes I plan on installing one before summer and before the new stroker goes in. High 70's-80 mph in a 22' boat can get hairy at times and they are cheap insurance to save an accident.

I was at Tygart lake last August and ran into you guys. That Crownline and I think it was his father with the Liberator. I was in the white Donzi 22zx with my wife. I know you said you used to hang out on Lake Anna. You making any trips down there this year?

Hey, hows it going? Man it's a small world. Yeah his Dad has the 221 Liberator with the Ford 468ci KC package. Heavy boat runs mid 60's. We all loved the Donzi, you'll have to bring it back sometime. I'll actually be coming down next month but won't be able to bring the boat due to business. I hope to be able to haul it back down and check out the old neighborhood and lake. Take care..
