The Passing Of A Good Man

Bruce Nicolle has passed away;losing his battle with cancer.

For all of us Poker Run enthusiasts to enjoy our hobby there is always people in the background that spend the hundreds and hundreds of hours doing the planning and organizing and fundraising that goes along with these events.

Up here in Ontario one of the favorite Poker Runs for all of us is THE RICE LAKE POKER RUN. Its not the fanciest,it never had large prizes, it wasn't the longest run or even a fast run.
Sparce accomadations and a small venue.

What it does have; is great people, great hosts and enthusiastic viewers.

One of the best things it ever had was Bruce Nicolle.

Bruce worked very very hard for a lot of years along with a great group of volunteers to make THE RICE LAKE POKER RUN one of the best. They have raised a lot of money $10.00 and $20.00 at a time for charity. Hats off to him.

He will be missed by a lot of Canadian Boaters.
