NKissau 02-24-2008 06:25 AM

WOW! That place is awesome. I'd buy a slip even if I didn't have a boat! Just so I could get in there.

It is not a membership but a PRIVATE and EXCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP.

It's awesome but I'll still need to win the Mega Million's $$$$$$$$$$$ draw to buy one. WOW what a place and great pic's. Thanks for the info.

Sharkey,

Would be tough with our season changes but could you imagine having a place like that in our area. It could host all of the boating/racing functions here. Always good to dream my friend. Thanks for the info.

Perfect spot for it to would be Traders Cove. But the rag wavers in Mantoloking would never let it happen... :(

By the looks of it, it seems like it would have a heliport located on premise as well.

From what I gathered from the debut, your trip would be handled for you. They would be a phone call away. From there they would handle the arrangements to get you there and back home. Arrange your flights and provide transportation to and from the airport. Your boat would be ready waiting for you fully fueled, food and drinks. All you would need to do is climb onboard and when you returned all you had to do was get off. They handle the rest. Go sit poolside or in the club while your boat is being flushed, washed and put back inside its Rackominium.

Sounds like a great idea. Especially even for a race team. If you wanted a place to go test or have a boat onhand to take out your sponsors for a ride, they would be treated like royalty... :drink:

I don't think these people had anything to do with knocking down Thunderboat Row unless you have something to support that claim I certainly would like to know.

BTW, Club SET is in South Beach :drink:

Just Joking,

I was drinking a little last night when I wrote that:D

188th Street Lounge is going to be the "club" to hang out and party in. It is named in tribute to where this whole disease of ours started.:D

Looks Great.....But to much FOOFOO for me..... But If I was into that and could afford that,(being thats gota be some big coin) I would buy a place on the water and hire a full time crew mate....But thats just me....Not say if a friend was in there I would go..:drink:

One of the nicest parties I have ever been to. The nightclub was stunning. That bartender could have made me leave my wife if she asked.

The One Marina Place is something I will really look into. Dock slips can cost what these guys were asking for a first class inside storage in Ft Myers at a perfect location.

CigDaze 02-25-2008 12:17 PM

Damn. Wow, now that's what I call a marina!

LAKESIDE RESTORATIONS 02-26-2008 09:53 AM

I had seen some stuff in the inside front cover of powerboat if I remember correctly.. It looks like it will be an awesome place.. I wonder what ownership packages will start at?? I would prefer that over a regular condo.. I dont think that the current ecomony will really have any bearing on that place or their prices though. If you can afford those toys & lifestyle that they cater to then that place's $$ shouldnt really be an issue either..

I am still working on getting to that level of lifestyle.. lol.. :D Just a few more years of work and a few more clonings of me ought to get me there.. lol :D Jamie

WARPARTY36 02-26-2008 03:53 PM

I have heard(not stating fact) that a rack spot starts at $175,000.00 and the monthly fees are outrageous(3 to 6 grand a month)! It sounds like a good idea if you are VERY wealthy.

Ok, I guess I'd have to work ALOT more years & get ALOT of clones.. :D lol.... :D J

Tim,

Great shots of the party, I was really trying to make it down there... Just couldn't free up my schedule.

Joy and Gary are good friends of mine, I know Joy's been working real hard putting this project together, looks like it's really turning into something special.

Can't wait to visit when it's finished.

See you around,

Bruce

Thanks Bruce.

The lighting was a real challenge, but everything seem to work out just fine.

Joy is happy with them and that's what 's most important... :drink:

That information was incorrect.

As Dave P had posted, maintenance fees are to be $400 per month not 6k.
