one thing I was thinking about is a spare sea pump assembly ...They whole assembly could be swapped out in about 10-15 minutes ...

The sea pump is a good idea. I keep two impeller kits but may swap one of them out for a whole assembly. I also keep a small electric fuel pump a pair of fuel filters and some assorted hoses and clamps. A nice pair of jumper leads is handy to, mine are about fifteen feet long 10-12 gauge wire with alligator clamps on the ends, easy to whip up in the shop and get used alot. Something i added last year was a small hand crank drill with a bit set that goes from sixteenth to quarter. came in handy a few times but i have an old Makita drill that i may convert to some type of cord i can just hook to the battery.

You'd think with a screen name of MacGyver all you'd have to carry is a rubber band and a toothpick. :party-smiley-004:

When they do break down with twins, sometimes it takes a monkey standing on their head to fix it (thus the reason I always took friends) so I never left the dock without the magnetic extenion/tongs for when I dropped a part or tool down into the bilge. All the other tools that were mentioned above are great but mine was always the best because we even took our boat mechanic on every trip too. His famous line on a 95 degree day broke down on vacation, "Did I tell you I hate boats?????"
