Went to the Tiki Bar for the 1st time last Sept on a warm Sunday afternoon on a friend's boat and it was dead. We cruised around some over there and just as we were getting ready to head back the drive went (Single engine 383 with an Alpha).

It took us about 4 1/2 hours to get towed back to Rudee Inlet where our vehicle and trailer was!

Glad we had insurance because the tow bill was like $1100 bucks! Looking forward to hitting the Tiki Bar this year some.

I would love to head over there but I heard it gets kinda tricky w/ the sandbars ???

In your boat it won't be a problem....tilt those outboards!! We went for the first time last year, I'd like to go back, let me know and we'll make a group run.

Just hook up w/ one of the HRPA.
We know the area and it is easy. GREAT area too - no jellyfish.

Sounds good, I heard theres a new marina/hotel/resort type place over there also right past the bridge thats very nice. Maybe make it a weekend trip.
