Have never driven a Sonic but the Velocity is not for the timid, it is a drivers boat for sure.

I sold my 31 sonic only to buy a 386...it's my 8th boat and I've only bought 2 of the same brand...SONIC

Thanks for all your guy's input on this. I am definitely going to go with my first impression of what I wanted to get into...and that was a Sonic. Now somebody just find someone with a 31 that needs to move up, move down or move out so I can get out on Lake Erie with the rest of ya's on the lakes this season!!!

There was a guy in our area that just traded his boat in for a 33 Active Thunder. This boat, if you can find it, might be a perfect candidate!

Thanks Panther. I will try and track it down. If anybody knows where to find this boat. Let me know.

Velocity all the way.The Sonic is a well built boat, heavy, and will eat up the ruff stuff but boring compared to a Velocity. The Velocity is a drivers boat and once you know how to run it they are alot of fun and they will eat up the rough water. They like to run on top and on the pad so the more power you throw at it the better.I am not saying anything bad about the Sonics but I personally have never been passed by one in the calm or the ruff but you should run each of them and form your own opinion and go from there and if you want to ride in a 320 Velocity I would be more than happy to take you for a blast and let you form your own opinion.:cool-smiley-026:

it looks like it's the one and the story matches up! I believe one of the enignes needed to or already has been replaced...

Yep, that's it. All of the information is available there. If you still need some help, I have some contact info on that boat as well.
