Default Where to go in Lauderdale/Miami by boat

I know that I have seen posts like this but I can't find them.
Where do you go on day trips from Fort Lauderdale. We do not want to go south of Miami. We are interested in seeing the local stuff North or South.
Places to eat
Hang outs
Neat stuff to see
Thanks for any input!!!

Thumbs up

Ft Lauderdale by boat I would suggest SHOOTER'S on the intercoastal on a Sunday afternoon but you have to get there early usually. Great time to be had there plus some of the Hottest Bikini Girls on the East Coast competing in a Hot Body contest.

We are going by boat. I have heard it is a very long no wake zone? Is that true?

Depends on what ya consider long

You can try 15th. st. fisheries also, just north of the 17th. st. causeway in lauderdale marina, if thats closer, sights arent as good, but the food is, and the beer is cheap. There are also a few places along the ICW in Hollywood, Las Palma is pretty good, but again, not the sights of Shooters. We usually hang further north, in Boynton, Lantana, and Peanut Island, but occasionally make it down that way.

Steve, we are down for spring break. Mar 15-22. I was hoping one of the cult would be down there too but he is back in Aspen until Pat finishes the boat.

Give Pat a call when you're down there. I'm sure he'll tow OverActive to the ramp for you.

Most of the ICW in Broward is slow speed/ no wake from 7a to 7p on weekends then 25 mph on weekdays.
