LOOKING for a Formula 242ls
 

Just thought I'd throw this out here for those who don't wander the Formula threads, I am looking for a 88-92 Formula 242ls with bolsters, I am open to colors and Imron designs, I don't want a SS, must be a LS. I will consider a non bolster boat but the price and condition will have to be way right. I will also consider a Formula 271 early years, 92-95 and possibly a 272, but really wanting to stay away from twins,

Alabama is a long way,but a friend has a very nice 242LS with bolsters,I think an 89 but not sure. It is 454 Mag Bravo.Local boat,always freshwater,I think she is 2nd owner. She mentioned recently she wanted to sell cause she never uses it. We serviced it last year and as I recall it was pretty nice. I can get her phone # if you like.

Paradox thanks, if I dooo go 272 it has to be a 87 or newer, while i do like the old square windshield I prefer the newer round version

88, your showing good patiance waiting for the right boat, remember you could go with aftermarket bolsters? Any luck in Vt. I know you had that on your list. The boat in Wa. state is beautiful just a long drive and $.

Im selling an '86
 

Has fresh last year 600 hp 540. Was told by installer that it dynos like a Bulldog. Mechanically sound but needs some cosmetic repair. Ill send some pix if interested. Boat is in Savannah Ga. Spent over 10k for motor installed. Selling for $13,500.

Just traded a super clean 87. 350 merc alpha, trailer, new canvas. call me 410-287-8280.

i know this thread is old but i have an 86 242ls with bolsters and twin 350s if anyone is interested. needs some work but i have harldy any money in it. would make an excellent project. i dont have the time or money to fool with it. bought boat and trailer cause friend wanted the trailer. boat is blocked in my yard. let me know if anyone is looking.
