Is that the fabled Outerlimits / Hustler joint venture?

And ya, 'Needs work' is an understatement.

what am i missing?? $35k for a running, triple engine boat with full instrumentation?

Seems like $10k spent on a really nice interior, another $10k spent on restoring the gelcoat and a wrap. $1k for a pressure washer and you'd have a good deal. Not a huge fan of triples because of the weight and fuel consumption..

but, to me, itd seem any running 40' boat with no hull issues and newer motors (new in '06) would be worth $35k. Especially if you could wheel and deal a little on the price..

if it had bigger twins in it, id be interested in it.. seems all cosmetic.

did i miss something?

The boat's 19 years old and there are some significant cracks showing up. It needs a lot of work .

Spoke with "DJ" today about the boat. Says it has a bunch of cracks on the deck in the gelcoat but none were structural. Said the motors were just completely gone through and boat has zero mechanical issues (coming from a salesman, i can see rust on the blocks and corrsosion on the steering system). Has a triple axle trailer for $7k and they are wanting offers. probably cld get the boat and trailer for $35k.. too bad its a triple..
