Cougar Molds

They come up on Ebay from time to time. Probably not worth anything.

I wouldn't know why someone would want to invest the time, cloth & resin in an out-dated design with very out-dated styling.

hawk 40 always has molds and bare hulls for sale.call and ask him.

The best bet going out there right now is the partnership between Joker and Beau. They have the Warpath mold and will pull you a 41 for a really nice number.

If my Apache sells, I'm in for hull #1. I wish I'd known I really wanted a 3-pack before I buried myself in a pleasure version.

I think they were way ahead of their time........I still love the lines of a cougar v bottom...

No offense intended. I've owned both the 38 and the 46 in the past. They're great boats. I just wouldn't think someone would want to make a go at resurrecting their production. If you're going to drop that much dough, it might as well be on something contemporary.

The white one's tin. Don't think I haven't given thought to calling about the yellow one in the classifieds :)

Speaking of Cougar and tin, how would one create the "plans" to build an aluminum boat? In other words, could you "splash" a fiberglass mold to somehow map the aluminum to be cut?

Trust me this baby is state of the art! It's being updated at Adrenaline.

The v Cougars are some of the most unique and beautiful looking sport boats ever produced both on and off plane. If they weighed a little less I would own one!

Wish I could post a couple of pictures of a couple of beautiful Cougars I've seen around Chicago. I think there bad *ss.

The cougar and 38 bertram's were way ahead of their time in styling.....I love the decks on those boats.....I can remember my dad trying to fill cracks a inch wide on the deck of the bertram and what a pain it was to blend all that in to such a rounded surface......

Mr Harris also has the 50' Cougar cat Spirit of the Amazon.

For some of us, redoing the old sh_t is all we can afford. Of coarse that is if we don't put any value on our time!!
