...it could be ruff when we have a NE wind ...my guess ...but in June i have heard a 20 ft boat can do the Miami to Bimini easy ...don`t shoot me please

A funny thing about open ocean racing.....all the bravado is left on the docks when the boats go out into that water, calm or rough....there is just an unspoken respect for the sea that seems to calm everyone down and they run their equipment with the same respect.

The waters are really mostly calm in June. All racers will be using common sense and the race will be remembered for the fun time had by all, rather than any nasty crossings.
