The waters are really mostly calm in June. All racers will be using common sense and the race will be remembered for the fun time had by all, rather than any nasty crossings.

A funny thing about open ocean racing.....all the bravado is left on the docks when the boats go out into that water, calm or rough....there is just an unspoken respect for the sea that seems to calm everyone down and they run their equipment with the same respect.

well said, for me it isnt about winning, but just being able to make the run.
