Yeah, great idea especially when you are short on storage space, but there are better ways to spend the money. Has anyone tried to make their own? Any pics?

I plan on making a set out of 1/4" chrome moly tubing and then powder coating for the finish. I will mount mine under the engine hatch on my 27 Fever. Right now, 2 8" and 2 4" bumpers plus my anchor take up the whole space under the back seat and I want it back.

I'll be sure to post up some pics when I'm done.

I bought mine from a custom machine shop that makes some nice custom billet marine stuff. He has some real nice fender holders. Can be stacked for multiple units. I don't remember the name. I will look-up the paperwork and post it here later. I believe the price was not too bad either.

Shouldn't they make a buck or two on them? Do you think they make 1000's of these....or even 100 a year? It's not really THAT pricy for what it is. Fully machined aluminum, plated, warranteed and made in the USA.....not China!

Maybe they will toss in a cup holder or a T-Shirt like Trick Marine did.

I've seen people make them out of starboard. If done right they look nice and blend in with the hull.

These are real nice pieces. I will post a pic later. I bought three holders and a bracket system to gang them up with. Polished on the holders and candy purple on the gang bracket.
