What's the difference?

Can someone tell me what's the difference in a Fountain Lightning and an Executioner??? Is it the bottom?

good question! always wondered also!

Depends on the model. The 35 bottoms are completely diff. The 42's are the same (lt/ex/pr) but cg's are diff of course.

The main diff is the deck obviously. Taller or shorter. What model?

Looking at a 42. Just curious if the bottom is the same on the two.

Depends on the year but currently the Ex is a single step and the lightning is a twin step.I think the pad is different plus 07 and newer lightnings are staggered

What year 42? The 35 is 1 vs. 2 but the 42 is the same

I thought on the 42's the bottoms were only the same for a few years, then the Reggie improved the bottom on the Lightnings a bit and kept the older bottom on the EX's?? I could be wrong but......

The bottoms are the same on a 2005 EX and Lightning. The difference is in the deck and windshield. Headroom in the cabin is better in the Lightning.

You can see the diff between my boat and Downtown's. Ex are old school.

The boat i'm lookin at is an 04. Twin step with staggered 525's. The deck and the windshield are the only apparent differeces. The mph should be the same.

I believe the old "Fever" is the "Lightning"......I believeThe Executioner is narrower (cockpit) becuase it has a walk around area on the deck (like a sonic)

Here's a picture of an Executioner

Here's a picture of the Fever............wider cockpit...........look at the side above the rubrail and you can see the difference in the boats.

O4 is not the same bottom as 2005.
