I had express cruisers for 10 years before buying a performance boat. Never had either brand. Consider the speed these boats travel, not that you'll be un-happy at the speed it moves, but the time it takes to get from point A to point B. That was my biggest hang-up. A trip we now make in 1.75 hour used to take 4 hours!!!! Considering your choices also have BBC's your fuel burn will more than DOUBLE.
Now, once you get there.....you'll enjoy yourself more being able to walk around in the boat. Just consider the trade-offs and decide..... BTW: I'm ready to sell the 382 and get into a 370SS for these reasons. |
