Miami Boat Show Theft..2 Lifelines & Leverage
 

I've worked with NMMA on our theft, but I'm about done. We are still working on the Convention Center Video Surveillance, so maybe we'll know shortly.

We had 2 Lifelines, 3 Cases of Leverage Polish, 1 Case of Oxidation Remover and 2 Green Canvas chairs stolen.

The Lifelines are the standard Orange with SOLD written on one of the tags in black marker.

The theft happened between Monday night and Tuesday morning after the show.

Sorry to hear that Donny. Was the front of the tent open when ou got there? I know @ 0630 your booth was till closed up visually, wonder if it happened after that?

Judging by the size of the theft we should all keep our eyes open for a really big shiny boat that only seats 2 with high tek lawn bolsters.... lol :D

Sorry, just tryin to let you have a laugh.. I hate seeing stuff like this happen.. Nobody really should have to endure that type of nonsense.. I hope you guys catch who stole from you..

I also had a larceny of product we were displaying at a show. An overnight occurance like yours. Don't rule out the security staff or the overnight maintenance people. Turns out, one of the maintenance jerks stole the product. Had to work the remainder of the show without some information product to demonstrate to customers. I hate thiefs.

I used to do quite a few trade shows. It never ceased to amaze me how much stuff could just get up and walk out without being seen. You'd think they'd have guards at all the exits- that once the show closed, nothing left.

The tent was still closed when we got there Tuesday morning. Our neighbors were there until about 8:30PM. We had packed everything up at 6PM and put it under the table. The lifelines were in a box at the bottom of the stack. They moved the flatscreen TV, DVD player and numerous boxes to get them.

that blows, but on a side not i just got my order of leverage from jaimie over at lake side marine and im going to try it out this weekend

there is a white van down the road from my work selling comforters every now and then, i will watch him to see if he ever has any leverage for sale!

Lots of times its the security guards who need watching:p
