I wouldn't consider leaving that boat in the water for a second! Buy a 15 K econolift or galvalift - they are awesome. I have a 10 K econolift for my 11K 34' Mach 1 and it lifts the boat and the outdrives completely out of the water. Nothing good can come from leaving such a fine boat in the water. Besides the obvoius things that have already been mentioned (reduced resale value, diminished appearance, blisters, etc) Your bellows will probably start leaking causing potential gimble bearing and transom damage. You have already spent a huge sum of money for the boat. Why not spend 10 K more and do it right?

If you can afford a boat lift, then get one. You won't be sorry.

My Dad had a Cafe Racer that he left in a Marina and in the water all summer long. He had it lifted out once every 3 weeks (more often in August when water was warmer) and had the bottom professionally powerwashed. Never had any hull trouble at all.

No bottom paint

Get the lift.........

The boat is small enough to use a lift......do it!

Bottom paint: $1500 - $2000 every year
Diver once a month: $80/month
Repaint drives: $300-400 ea every year
Haul and launch: $400-500

All these, plus resale maybe be better too.

Here in central New York. We only get 4 months of summer. Not one paints the bottom or pull them out monthly. The growth from fresh water washes right off with and acid wash and the boat looks as good as new. Know people who have had 15 - 20 seasons of this with a bright white shinny hull.

I dont see why if you pulled it every few months you would have an issuse.

But if you are in Saltwater its a whole different game for ya.

Do i need to flush the drives when it is on the lift?
