Default What brand prop - do I have?

I need some help trying to figure out what prop i have, it was and extra that cqame with the boat. Its a 3 blade polished stainless. It has only ver small numbers on the side behind one blade. Its say 57 and a bout an inch or two down it has a teardrop followed by a 52.

I have no idea what prop or whre it came from - any ideas ?

I can post a pic later if that will help

Look for numbers in the hub area where the nut goes.

Also post the picture and I'm sure we can help you.

I will post a pic. - There are no numbers by the hub, the stepped copper nut the lock washer sits on appears to be press on the prop.

Here are few pics, hope they help. The two groups of number are the only markings on this thing.

The stamped numbers might be from a rebuilder who re-conditioned the prop at one time. On a side note, I am so happy to FINALLY find some one with feet as hairy as mine! (JK)

Thanks for looking at my feet, I mean prop.

If anyone has any ideas let me know. I have a 25 pitch Mirage on it now, so it must be close to that, however I was told it was slipping from the old owner and not to run it.

He did also tell me the the boat did the best speed it ever has with this prop unitl he decided to have it cupped, then it was no good on the boat. If only he could recall what prop it was.

I would like to sell it or trade it for a new one if I had any idea what it was.
