does anyone know who makes windscreens for boat companies? It seems like all the new boats have then,outerlimits cig donzi eliminater . where can i get one maid?

You can make one out of plywood & any plastics shop can copy your design. It's pretty simple. If you need curves, use 1/8" ply

Spartech makes them for Baja.

Give Rik Wimp a call from Arneson, I believe he has a company that makes them for some of the companies and might be able to help.

There's been several threads about it in the Cig section. Some people have had them made or bought them from Cigarette.

We make the OEM's for several of the manufacturers - The problem is that if we do we cannot sell direct unless they let us - Bummer!

You can sell it to my Wholesale co.. RIght ?? Just have it custom made. so it's not like the OEM models.

First there is the ethics of it, but the main problem is that if you need something custom we're into molds which is megabucks. If you have the mold it's fairly simple to knock out the windshield. If you don't it's a real pain 'cause it ties you up for weeks. Some of the oldies it's simple because they didn't form them.
With the economy as it is, we've been experimenting on overhauling windshields and have started with the high performance polycarbonate ones. Here we can sand them down to 8000 grit and reapply the hardcoat. That saves a bundle. We haven't done this with acrylics yet, tho!

The add that he is referring to in Powerboat Magazine is in the Buyer's Guide and that particular windshield belongs to Aero Marine. It is a complete kit that we have designed in-house. We may sell the windshield kit to those who can utilize the application and adapt it to their own boat. Aero Marine has their own in-house designers.

I've considered a new sheild, but resurfacing my existing Linder shield would be an interesting option. What's the turn around time? OK to PM or email me.
