Charlie, I can get Jim and Chris Muir, who do all my art and styling work, to design a patch for the race. They did my Thunderboat Row medallion, and did a beautiful job. In addition, Aronow's long time glass foreman, Perucho, has a son, Chito, in the cnc embroidery bidness. What do you think? A lot of poker run types would like to have a hero badge to sew onto their jackets...................
I agree, the Muir's have the history of the event down pat, they should be able to come up with something nice.
I like the idea of showing the actual race course like the patch from the 1966 race over to Bahamas.
The other ideas here..... are the patch for Sam's Memorial Race and how Rocky used a square patch for the California race out of San Francisco

Well, again, I would love to see a version of the patch which can be framed. A large format would be nice, like 5x7 or 8x10. Imagine a nice patch framed with a picture of your boat, along with a small inscription with the date, etc. Framed, it would be a very nice momento.

I do apologize for the delay but a thing called work slowed be down quite a bit the last two weeks.
I have given myself a Monday deadline and set aside my usual weekend projects to proof the final paperwork.
Thanks,
Brad
