Hi, long time lurker here! My father and I are looking for a cheap boat to run off Cape Cod. He likes to run his boats in big water, so it has to be strong. Does anyone know anything about a Mirage Intimidator? There's one for sale locally that we might check out. Were they a production or custom-made boat? What is their build quality comparable to (i.e. Formula, Wellcraft, Sonic?). For what it's worth, we used to own a 27' Formula and a 33' Sonic. My father managed to destroy the Formula in a year (cracked gas tank, deck ripping off hull, etc.).
