To be honest, I'm not sure. Even if you do find one that doesn't require more than one night, it will most likely be expensive.

Any idea's were they can stay that do not require a 2 or 3 night minimum. Our plans are to spend Fri night at Sandusky, Sat at Kelly's, Sun at Put-n-Bay.

Thanks,

Make sure to have reservations.......my uncle got kicked out of the Cedar Point docks today in his 75 Lazzara and was headed to Put in Bay...... They told them they needed the dock space asap. He said CP (park) was jammed with people every day he was there.

A room will be expensive at all three places..plan on $200+ per night for a room at CP, PIB or Kelley's.

It's that time of year and yes, CP will be packed for the next 3-4 weeks, which is when the kids go back to school.

Can't help with a place to stay, we stay on the boat or with friends. Check on-line, there's plenty of info there for all three places.

If you are talking about PIB I think The Boardwalk runs the mooring balls.

Brand new hotel just opened a couple of days ago on Kelly's 419-746-2900

They could stay at http://www.hotels.com/property.do?mtnHotelID=375505&CIMonth=8&COMonth=8& CIDay=22&CODay=23&CIYear=2008&COYear=2008&numrooms =1&roomOccupancyString=1||2|0|0&PSRC=TAJ&utm_sourc e=tripadvisor&utm_medium=feeds&adults[0]=2&mcid=trip%20advisor.feeds&coupon=GAS50

This will put them close and can be dropped off by boat with a short walk. As far as PIB I would just start checking online.

BTW the rooms in all of the local area Hotels are barely average and are used pretty hard during the tourist season so it's hit and miss! We have stayed there but like the reviews there is a funk in the air!

They could stay at Kelly's in the brand new place for a couple days and ferry over to Sandusky but no matter how you look at this it will be a huge inconvenience for someone without them having a boat and I can only assume no car.

The Boardwalk Runs the mooring balls, and they are first come first serve. There is a sign out in the harbor that tells you what radio channel to hail them on.
