In smaller boats there is porta potti,so it is for example in Fountain 33 Lightning.Isnīt it rather terrible in use?

When I was shopping I made damn sure I got a full head with a pumpout - I don't want to carry around a bucket of.... you get my drift.

I don't and nether do my friends have a can on theirs ether. At Loto it's like a washing machine, it will be sloping all around and there's a way it can get out it will. To many bars or coves to stop in to do that on the lake here. Each to there own. I know a lot of lakes may not have many options.

don't seem to have much problem with mine; fairly smooth ride however (and slow)- dump it after every outing

I've had porta potti's on my last 2 boats. Never an issue with odor or leaking. It gets used frequently. I boat at LOTO as well and never had a problem. It certainly is nice to walk down to the boat when the line to bar's bathroom is 12 deep.

I keep one on board just for my kid to use (4 yrs old). By the time he knows he's got to "drop a deuce" there is NO time to get anywhere. I've never had a problem with it.

Not my favorite option on the boat but it is an necessity for my wife & daughter. I do not have any problems with it and it's pumped out after every outing.

My 27' MAGNUM came with a china toilet that had overboard discharg, put in a holding tank w/ deck pump-out. Every harbor in my area and many marinas have pump out facilities,no charge!! HIGH LIFE

I've never allowed anyone to use one on my boats. Actually taped them closed so they couldn't be touched

BOBCATMATHEWS 04-05-2008 10:44 AM

I remember rafting up to a bunch of boats, and the ladies used mine, filled up to the brim, had to carry "old sloshy" out of the cuddy cabin, still gag thinking about it.:hitfan:

We use ours all of the time. Women are funny creatures and I'm not going to ruin a good day on the lake because nature calls for only the second or third time that week. Quite frankly, I don't get not using it. I put tons of the blue stuff in it everytime and I have never a problem. Mine sits in an enclosed gelcoated box with a snap down top so if things ever did explode, at least the mess is contained. If it is not in a sealed enclosure and has an explosion, it could ruin a nice interior.
