Help on anchor size
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys..need some help on anchor size for a 23' CC. The boat is 3000. pounds. Do not need something overly large, its just to be used for when she is fishing and need to be anchored. Sandy will be the one pulling it up, so what are you're recomendations on weight . 18-26 pounds at Walmart...ect..is that suffecient...Thanks Jeff

How about a Fortress Aluminum anchor? I think the 8 lb model is the right size for that boat and would be way easier for her to handle. Work great too.

What about one of those folding box anchors?
|
just use a concrete block on a rope for that pos

Pick the achor size you need,,,, then go up one.
any will hold on a bring sunny calm day. I want the one that holds in high winds and heavy waves when I lost my engines that I have thrown over 30 seconds before my boat is thrown up on the rocks !!!!! |
Small box anchor. I have had lots of anchors. Can't beat the folding box anchor. I have the large for my cig

I have the small box anchor for my Cig and it works great. I also had the small box anchor for my 31' and it worked great. The good part about them is that anyone can easily pull it right up and you don't need a chain or a ton of rope. |
