Let,s find it and bring it to the Don Aronow Ocean race in June !!
It was one of the first race boats to get my attention .

I know one of them is in the British Virgin Islands....I am not sure which one it is. There were a couple pics floating around here some time ago.

Last I heard, it was still up here in Chicago. The guy that owned it walked into the (now former) marina/boat storage facility right by my house and began talking to the late Straight Jacket about the boat. He called me right away and said "You are not gonna believe this!" and told me the story. The guy came in a couple more times to talk boats....said Long Shot was in his building and he was slowly refurbishing it and getting it back to factory spec. That was 2009...haven't heard or seen anything since.

Cashbrain bought it from the widow I believe. Pulled the whole rig out of storage almost like it was in a time capsule. That was the last I heard. I have a bunch of pics somewhere. Cool find.

Hi, i have the original long shot here in the british virgin islands. It has been completely redone. It has twin 900hp engines with merc #5 on stand off boxes. I will post some pics soon if i can get it done.
