OH yeah one of those times it was a boat that Fred Trickster was selling for a friend

OL40SVX 04-08-2008 11:10 PM

I would be interested is what you were going to buy it for, since the thing sat forever at National Liquidators then finally sold, i guess was put back together and run. When it was listed wasnt it for like 179k or something?? If your interested in mine let me know. There's no cheaper staggered Gladaitor for sale.

Hey Dreamer I had a similar thing happen. The only thing that saved me was my contract , I had them tied for 30 DAYS. Do you have paper work that states that. If you do I would say hire a lawyer and go get your boat!! Good Luck

vagrant 04-09-2008 09:35 AM

Oh and another thing, they told me they had a buyer with cash in hand for a high amount. Did they really sell the boat or just hide it ?

CigBoat 04-09-2008 01:41 PM

Wow you are brave! I have family that I would not admit to having but I respect you for that! The boat was nice and I guess it got tied up in a divorce or so that is what Fred told me.
I seen that you are in Somersizzel how does the Lake look this year? Anyword on a water level yet?

CigBoat 04-09-2008 01:42 PM

Any idea where the boat went?

wish he would speak up

getchasum111 04-09-2008 02:24 PM

i have not spoken to him since all this started...actually it has been years....bought some tabs and a few mis. parts for a scarab back in 2005...i don't know where the boat ended up...it was for sale for a very long time though...he had some issues with my brother scott and his boat and that didn't go well and we just kind of stopped talking...water on lake cumberland looks good....the water is on the rise but looks to be pulling trash from the shoreline out...lotts of trees floatting around...sorry couldn't be more help...i'm on here all the time so say hello...

Chip Cecil

I'll cut Chip a little slack.
From what I recall, he got screwed by the same Uncle that screwed many.
And he's "man-ing" up of his association up-front.

getchasum111 04-09-2008 08:46 PM

thanks bouy....and i understand Phantom...

Unless you prove me wrong (and I feel that way about anyone here) I have no reason to doubt you.
I felt the same way about your Uncle, and I'm very disappointed that he proved me wrong.
I know you took some crap because of the name association, But you've handled it respectfully.
Must really suck to get burned by your own family.
Makes family reuions kinda strange.
Some may have a short memory of everything that went on.
Enjoy your boating!! Maybe we'll get a chance to meet up in Cumberland this year:D:D

MY ATTORNEY NEEDS INFO DO I REALLY NEED TO SPELL OUT IN A PUBLIC FORUM THAT IM SUING THE DEALER?

VetteLT193 04-11-2008 10:28 AM

Can't you just follow the paper trail and find out via public records?

If you have the hull # you should be able to find out who owns the boat now.

dreamer 04-11-2008 10:34 AM

just thought the forum would help.... obvious people know

:Whatever:

cosmic12 04-11-2008 10:36 AM

Did you get any closer to it from the fiber glass shop ?

baja27 04-11-2008 11:18 AM

Dreamer, you are just wasting your time and money, but if that's what you want to do go for it.

Downtown42 04-11-2008 12:31 PM

Hey at least he is not backing down with Another Scam Dealer that jerks with the public. I'd be pissed as well and if had some extra coin would do the same.

Go get 'em. :angry-smiley-038:

Xchoke03 04-11-2008 12:41 PM

I support dreamers efforts. Hell he got screwed big time. The least he should do is have the dealers shady behavior exposed in the courts.

A deal is a Deal !!!

Dean Ferry 04-11-2008 01:09 PM

Dreamer,

Who is the dealer, if you don't mind me asking? If you can't discuss it because your attorney says no, then that's fine. I hope you get satisfaction, it just sucks how some of these morons in the marine business treat US!
