Jason, that is a memory that I'm sure will last forever with you and your Grandpa. It's great that many of you share your hobbies with fathers/grandfafthers.

I wasn't as lucky with my dad liking/appreciating my choice of toys & hobbies. All through my racing days (cars & boats) my Dad just couldn't relate. Now that the size of the toys has escalated (along with the cost) all I get out of him now is the compulsory "Oh my aching ass - what have you bought now?" It's cool, I get a kick outta seeing him just shake his head and laugh!!!

Very cool! It reminds me back in 1998 I took my 85 year old Grandfather-in-law for a 105mph ride in my 22ft Talon.

This is funny. Even though he has plenty of money, he has always been very frugal. Before the ride I told him he can borrow a pair of wrap around sun glasses to deal with the wind. Well he said, naaaa, I got my own. When he got in the boat he put on what at first I thought were goggles. I look closer and they are safety glasses and for the strap he used an old fruit-of-the-loom underwear waistband! He's a great guy...

That was so special............. My Brother and I just lost my Dad he would have been 92 on 4/26.......... He got a chance to ride in my Cat and throttled last summer and it was a big thrill for all of us on our lake in michigan ( Cass Lake in Oakland County )

I wish all your family the very best............. Thanks for such a good memory for all ...................
