Default Sore loosers rant

Ran my Karmann Ghia at the street legal drags this weekend, and clicked off a 12.06@ 109 against a Mustang (13.80). Dude was pissed and he and his buddies are all in my face about how it's not fair because they say my car isn't streetable running those speeds (I drove it to the track!!). They cause so much trouble, the track owners asked me not to come back for a few weeks. I'm pissed. It's not ny fault if the stupid meatheads got embarassed by a VW! I'm trying to figure out how to present my case to the track owners to prove I wasn't the trouble maker. Any advice on how to keep my cool?

Aren't you on the wrong board? I would add nitrous and go back next week and run low 11's! Lowest Weight to power ratio wins every time.

Dude one of these days the guy with the Mustang will figure out his car is slow as all Mustangs are!!! I used to beat them all the time with my Saab. Only place they could get me was off the line, Saabs being front wheel drive. If they did beat me then I had the satisfaction of knowing that they had spent a lot of money hot rodding their motors and all I did was twist the trubo booste screw, put a 2 dollar spring on the waiste gate, adjust the lamda valve and that was it. So all my mods cost me 2 bucks and about one hour to do.

Call the track owner and explain in a very cool manner what happend. He should understand and reconsider his opinion. Just keep your cool and if he does not then say ok thanks and run another day. You never know the track owner may somehow be friends with this meathead
