can run on jet-A, kerosine, diesel, gas/diesel mix or bio-diesel the power is related to the BTU output of the fuels, but of 1st concern is maint. proper pyro-temps you DO NOT want to over heat a turbine ! #6's are at their torque limits that is where the torque meter control comes into play limiting torque thru the drive line Gerry, James, Dennis or some of the other turbine guys w/experience could go into this deeper ! Yes the t53 has a torque metering system This is a hydromechanical pressure gauge that is dash mounted.
This actualy measures the output torque at any given throttle
range. Basicaly for those of us that run the weak #6 drive
it allows us to measure the amount we are applying to the drive when we are on the sticks.
The big guys like Geico run Shaft drives.

stops the rotor within 4 seconds. The other compound was just to soft.
