I have to admit I kind of liked the show and I didn't think the cops were dicks at all. If I had to spend my life dealing with drunken meatheads day in and day out I would be a horrible person to those idiots.
I also thought it was really cool when that one kid said he hadn't been drinking and then blew a 0.00 - I was just waiting for him to blow some ridiculous number and turns out he was bone sober.

You mean he wasn't drunk, can you imagine the drugs that are being consumed out there during spring break
I think the cops acted as if they were on tv, I find most of them to be very reasonable in our area.

I've been going to Havasu for 20 years and it just keeps getting worse, I hope they all go to jail, don't get me wrong I love a few beers, however I dont get smashed and get into a rental boat with out a clue on how it operates. Nor do I want to be a tuff guy out on a lake I only go to once a year. Most of the azzholes, are non-boaters I have found.

Couldn't agree more....99.9 percent of the azzholes out there are sh!t heads from the 909 or L.A. County area that have seen Havasu on MTV or in the papers or other media/press and want to go where the party is. They'll rent a pontoon or other rental boat fill it to the max with as many people possible and slowly motor to a party spot.
It seems to be the worse during the spring break time and big holidays...Thus the reason we dont go during these times.
Other weekends its mostly performance boaters out to have a good time and no problems...The weekend of Desert Storm you don't see any of this sh!t at all. The area is flooded with serious eye candy...more than normal!
However, I agree with you all...We don't need anymore azzholes...Go to LOTO!

I have spent countless summers on lake havasu, and there is no doubt there are way to many idiots on the water. Lake Lice have got to be the worst, anyone can rent a seadoo without any instruction. They scare the SH*T out of me!!!! But i have noticed the lake has seemed to be becoming less out of control. This summer should be better than the last because alot of the wild ones wont be able to afford the gas. Its just a shame that moderation isnt used when it comes to drinking in havasu. by the way this is coming from someone who hasnt turned 21 yet...

Heres a video of Havasu last weekend to give you an idea of what the lake is really like....Notice, they are leaving "The Naked Turtle" bar and pass right by copper canyon when they're going by the seadoo.
Not as crazy as TV makes it look.

Tanks #25 above is exactly right, you probably won't see any of the spring breakers at Desert Storm. Talked to a local last year and they said the break can go on for about 8 weeks, great for the local economy. When I was a kid, we had Easter Vacation, 1 week and everyone went to Balboa...

So they deal with all the drunk dumb azzes for a few weeks and then it's on to other events that aren't so problematic.
