Removing water spots on windshied
I've tried nearly everything and maybe theres a chance it's somehow etch itself into the glass but does anyone have a magic potion to remove water spots from a windshield??

Vinegar? Back in the day we used to use toothpaste to polish windshields. Somebody might make a glass polish these days.

Vinegar to remove the water spots.
|
Mix White Vinegar with water 50/50 in a spray bottle and use like any glass cleaner. It will also take the water spots off the chrome.
|
Mix 1/2 clear true vinegar and 1/2 clear distilled water. This should take care of it for you.

If it's glass then Zaino makes a glass polish that is un-freakin' believable. It's not a glass cleaner so much as a polish, it has abrasives in it, and it works.

Thanks guys I'll give that a shot.

We use to get rid of waterspots on windsheilds at a detail shop using 0000 fine steel wool and carnuba wax. Be careful though it will clean it so good that you wont be able to see the glass. Seen alot of people put their face into a window after this has been done. Makes the water bead like rainX also. No need for windshield wipers. If you want to get rid of streaks on a window the best thing to use is a newspaper and window cleaner. These are some tips I learned when detailing cars for a dealer!:D

I had the same problem with a car i just bought. I tried everything from vinegar to simple green NOTHING made the spots budge. I had a buddy who details cars look at it. He used a car wax and buffed them out
