FL and Gulf coast boaters - check this site.
Every once in awhile there is a website worth sharing.
If you boat off FL or the Gulf coasts this site will give you wave heights several days in advance. They say they use info from NOAA so I would think it should be fairly accurate. The controls at top left of the chart allow you to scroll forward or back in 6hr. increments. Someday I will let you know if accurate or not !! Thanks Bob..... Very interesting site.

Bob, how are you? Has the wind died down yet?

I was diving in the keys this past weekend.
Friday.. all trips were canceled. Saturday 5-7 only a few nuts like us went out. I never seen the Keys like this. Noaa and the coast guard weer off about a foot+. but close. I guess it depands on how far out and location. |

This is a pretty good indication for the boaters out of Houston and Galveston....
